Everything All the Time

I’m a film maker by trade, but my foundations lie within the strokes of paint. I am getting back to my roots with my new series called “chaotic oscillation”. I explore the sites of the internal, my internal. Within my meditations I am met with what I call the veil. This veil is the first thing I experience when I close my eyes - as if the sun bursts through my retinas and a complex geometry closes in on it. As I begin to calm my mind to break through the veil, sound and waves begin to appear both visually and auditorily. These pieces represent the beginning stages of this exploration visually. In future projects I’ll be exploring the sounds.

Each piece is different much like each experience is different. While working on these I listened to a lot of Terrance Mcenna. His quote perfectly represents both the world today and what I am trying to express with my pieces. Every one of us is a vibration, and we experience all the vibrations and oscillations around us. You may recognize some shapes within pieces looking like words or symbols. These represent sounds that may not be categorized within the measurements of modern day. They are within, shown here.

The projection you experience here is an exploration of aura and how auras can appear within everyday life whether you know it or not. Your energies within you radiate so far beyond yourself they affect others in ways you can’t imagine. So sit with this piece, look into it as if you are the being interacting in the environment. Reflect on yourself, feel what you put out, feel what you take in, breathe, feel, breathe, feel, breathe, feel, breathe…
